Since last I wrote I’ve been off on another field trip. This time to beautiful Bali for a week. Happy birthday to my bridesmaid, Lou, from many years ago, as we shared her birthday under the palm trees. The other highlight would have to be the wonderful Balinese people who make me want to return every year just to see them.

To Catherine, the Australian midwife at the Bumi Sehat Bali, the beautiful birth centre in Ubud, who I was privilaged to share two hours with as we talked babies and mums and the differences and similarities between cultures and the miracle of birth. Thank you.
The smiling ladies of the beach, the wonderful men and women who helped us whitewater raft down raging torrents, and the happiness that pervades Bali all made it a wonderful trip.
Watch for that book with the midwife in Bali.
I’ve been promising information about Lyrebird Lake. Well the last off the trilogy is done, though I’m not ready to say godbye to the Lake so more in the wind. Next post is all about it. Can’t wait.

my second Kimberley’s of Western Australia book has hit the shelves.
Makes you wonder about the covers in all the other countries.
